A quick castle and back home!

Day 11 & 12 - Stratford and Warwick Castle


Finishing up the Morgan car hire experience we handed back the keys and left the Malvern Hills; heading to Stratford-Upon-Avon; the birthplace of Shakespeare and incredibly well preserved Tudor town.

Fairly shattered after a long day of driving and riding, we found a little restaurant with outdoor seating and had some entrees before settling in for an early night!

The next morning I’d booked us tickets to Warwick Castle (Lou’s favourite) for 10am Entry – so we raced out of Stratford and arrived in the first batch of tourists (making for much better photos!)

Inside the castle was a one way series of exhibits detailing the previous owners and their various conquests!

By lunchtime the castle was beginning to fill up so we took some last photos and raced back to the café for some lunch!

We then jumped in the car (with me on the bike!) and bombed 2.5 hours down the motorway back to London!
 
We arrived mid afternoon, madly began washing clothes and unpacking; ready for 3 days of work before heading off again to SCOTLAND!
